This annual siletnt retreat will take us through beautiful redrock country. Backpacking 2-6 miles on many days with layover days and solo time as part of the mix. The Sacred Valley of Peru - A Meditative Trek
sponsored by True Nature Journeys

This is an opportunity to bring the wisdom and open mind of meditation practice to a journey of trekking and travelling through the Andean highlands. There will be a five-day trek in the Lares valley region of the Sacred Valley, a day at Machu Picchu, a day witnessing the local ethnic dances of a Pentecost festival, and time exploring Pisac and the surrounding countryside. There will be daily sitting time, dharma discussion and talks, and some periods of silent practice.

High Mountain Camping Retreat
Lake Irwin (near Crested Butte), Colorado
A Sky Mind Retreat

Come join us high in the alpine Colorado Rockies at the end of summer. We will be based at a secluded cabin above Lake Irwin. Accommodations will be camping, and meals are provided. Enjoy the silence of retreat, supported by meditation instruction, solo time, dharma talks, meetings with teachers and practice in the spectacular high mountains. We will come together as a small community to listen to the nature of our own life, and the wider life to which we belong. Suitable for beginning and experienced meditators.

Insight Meditation Retreat
A Residential Meditation Retreat north of Moab, Utah

Located at the spectacular and isolated Professor Valley Field Camp, with teepees, yurts and a camping option, this retreat is for all levels and is sponsored by the Moab Sangha. The Professor Valley Field Camp is located about 40 minutes north of Moab.

The listed cost for the retreats covers only the direct costs of the retreat. Scholarships are available - we appreciate your request and would like all retreats to be affordable.

In accordance with the tradition of freely offering the teachings of the Buddha, there is no fee for the teachers included in the cost of the retreat.. At the end of the retreat, there will be an opportunity to make an offering to the teachers; through the generosity of participants, the teachers receive financial support which allows them to continue to teach. No amount is required or expected.
